When i had a limit switch get tripped and i need to reset it i would click the reset button in the bottom right corner and a window would open.
Now when I click the rest button nothing opens up how do i get the window to open when i click the red rest button?

I have never actually seen that screen buy try; Function Cfg's / Reset Device Sel... and see if that does it.
Tweakie.

Must be missing something I guess. Why would you want it back? it's an error message. It only pops up when you don't have your limits set right.

I like to have it back since I am still learning and setting my mill up. I have crashed into them a couple times and was able to toggle them to get the axis of the switches.
i am going to make some handwheels to turn them off the switches.
I did email mach3 support and they said"There really is no easy way to get that message back,"
So making handlwheels sounds like the best way to solve this.

The only way (that I have found) to get that dialog back is to hack the XML via a text editor and reset the WarnOnReset value to be 1. But, like I told John when I emailed him back this morning, the correct way to handle the situation would be to use the Limit Override options on the Settings screen...

thanks scottn, I found the override in the setting screen.
