Title: NEWBIE!! How to round an edge
Post by: snapajap on January 28, 2014, 11:29:39 PM
Ok, so I'm all proud that I have cut out a rectangle made of plastic and it has rounded corners.  I have been trying like crazy to make the outside edges have a rounded edge (without taking to my router table).
Is it a roundover, fillet, bevel??  How can I incorporate this into my NFS programming?
I'm pretty dumb in this whole arena, so, bear with me please.
Thank you in advance.

If you are meaning the actual edges to have a rounded profile then you would need to use a corner rounding cutter.

snapajap,
You might be able to adapt the method in this video for outside edges.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NFQ1A37kcGA
