Title: Y axis

Y axis is moving up when i use the down arrow key? have changed to hot keys with the same results. any help would be great

You're probably not getting the proper voltage on the direction pin. This seems to be a very common issue with a lot of newer PC's.

Dont know if it will help but did you change the direction on Homing/Limits, just click reverse on Y?

yes i did do that but up went down and down went up?

so it worked that way but put it back still not working

Measure the voltage on the direction pin while jogging in both directions (each arrow button) You should be seeing 0V in one direction, and 5V in the other direction.
If you're not getting 5V, then you may have a 3.3V oarallel port and a breakout board that requires 5V.
