Title: Resetting X & Y alignment

I need to make several parts with the same hole design.
My part is 6" x 12" so I cut a pocket the part will fit in so I only need 2 small clamps to hold it down.
Problem is I jogged the x axis by accident so now the holes are not correct. I do not have homing switches.
Is there any way I can reset X&Y to drill the holes correctly without cutting a new pocket & starting over?

Normally you would use an edge finder and just touch off a known point in X and Y then set the DROs in Mach accordingly. Depending on how accurate you need things, even touching off with the cutter and a feeler gauge may be good enough, remembering of course to allow for the radius of the cutter when entering the position into Machs DROS.

I use a touch plate macro with a piece of aluminum angle as the plate.  This makes finding edges very easy, quick, and repeatable.
