Title: Z axis stepper wont move.

I am new to mach 3 and cnc. I have everything laid out wired up and running except z axis. mach 3 plasma I have x and y movement but when I try z it does not move. I changed drivers and steppers around they all work. Is there a setting I am over looking or not understanding. The DRO I think is what its called is going up and down but nothing at the stepper. thanks ???

Do you have the correct port and pin numbers entered for the Z?
If you attach your xml I will have a look and see if I can find a problem.

Thanks for getting back to me so fast hood. I got it to work I changed the z to pins 8-9 and it works. this is all new to me. I bought the steppers (nema 23 287oz) BOB is ( DB25-1205) drivers are (DQ542ma). was not getting a signal from 2-3 just thought I would try and it worked. thanks I am sure I will have further questions.
