Title: Distance above material for rapid
Post by: dschwei on November 15, 2013, 07:43:36 AM
Hello all,  I have a question.........  When I cut straight through 4 x 8 plywood material, sometime the sheet is slightly bowed.  This doesn't really effect my parts in use but sometimes as the the router moves between cuts on the same sheet,  it crosses a high spot and scuffs a very shallow path to the next actual plunge.  How do I raise, or control the distance above the material as it moves betwen cuts?

The height should be settable in your gcode generator program, or changed manually in the gcode file itself.
