Title: Should I replace 3040 control box

Hi
I have a cnc 3040 the Chinese one from eBay.

Is it a good idea to change the standard control box ? 

Any recommendation as to what with ..taking into account I am just a home hobby user so don't want to send a fortune on a start of the art system.

I am in the UK it seems USA carriage is very expensive for this stuff.

If it works just use it. If it gives problems then consider using other hardware.
Arc Euro Trade sell Leadshine stepper drives whic are decent.
