Title: How to load DXF image correctly

Good day. I've tried to load the attached DXF image into LC to generate the Gcode, but I do not get the desired result. Can anyone explain what am I doing wrong. I need to cut the attached panels out of polystyrene foam. The machine I have designed can cut any soft material with the following dimensions; X=1750mm, Y=2750mm and Z=500mm maximum. The foam will lay flat in the machine, therefore the Gcode to be generated in such manner to enable the machine to cut the desired shapes.

Your .dxf is a 3D mesh. LazyCAM can only read 2D .dxf files. You'll need a 3D capable CAM program that can read 3D .dxf files.

Hi Gerry. Will Mach3 be capable of machining 3d?
