Title: G90 G91 Question, and/or code stops running ???
Post by: Blyn3D on August 28, 2013, 01:47:05 AM
RhinoCam issues continue. . .
I'm just trying cut a circle out of 6mm aluminum, shouldn't be that hard?!
But since I'm only removing .25mm per pass with a 1.5mm end mill, it's a large chuck of code.
It runs just perfect until it to line N5010, part way through the second pass and stops.
If I futs with it at all the remain G-Code just vanishes from the code viewer.
Also the abnormal state, I think it's state, button is yellow and when click it says the precision or sudden stop rather then velocity, not normal state G90/G91.

Do I even need this line of code to cut a circle or a cog?
N20 G0 G17 G40 G49 G80 G90

Also I turned down my system to 2500 from 3500, and now I'm getting a dialog box claiming one or more of my motors are set to a higher speed.
What's better, turn my system back up or tune my motors down?

Thanks for your time and insight,

Tim

Are you running a demo copy of Mach? The demo is limited to 500 lines of code.

Attach your xml  file.
