Hi all, my old mach3 computer died so I'm now trying to use a newer comp which has no parallel port on board :-\
I brought a no name pci parallel port card but I get a an external estop called in mach3 :'(
Has anybody got a pci parallel card that has proven to work preferable from australia ???

Hi Nick.
This one works for me in a std. PC with PCI connector and WinXP
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/IEEE-1284-DB25-25Pin-Parallel-Port-Printer-to-PCI-I-O-Controller-Card-Adapter-2-/270829949756?pt=US_Internal_Port_Expansion_Cards&hash=item3f0eb9133c
Not from AU, but it's with free postage ;-)
Best Regards, Bo Andersen.

Thanks Bo I'll look into that one ;) it also appears that I have other issues with the controller ::)

the default address of LPT port in mach3 is 0x378
if your adapter is properly installed goto device manager, click properties on you adapter and then check it's address at Resource tab
set it's address in mach3 and should work
