Title: Problems with Home Switches
Post by: KenW on June 30, 2013, 08:23:27 PM
Hi All - I'm very new to cnc and have just installed Mach3 working with a Camtronics controller with 3 G320 drives.  I believe that all wiring is correct as I can jog all the servos but for the life of me, can't get any home switches to register in Mach3.   I have separate switches for the X and Y axis that are connected to the parallel port breakout board.  Each switch has one side connected to the ground, and the other side of the switches are connected to pin 10 and 12.  I've tried configuring through Mach3 both manually and also using the auto function, but in diagnostics, nothing registers when I trigger the switches.
Am I missing something?   Please, can anyone shed some light?
Thanks
Ken

Ok...so after all my crazy pulling my hair out, I switched cables and it now works!  Go figure.   ;D
