Title: Multipass Wizard for Mach Turn
Post by: Børge on June 30, 2013, 03:43:17 PM
Hi, i am new to Mach3, i have used it for a while and i like it.
But, when turning i would like to have the posibility to have multipasses.
Is there anyway to do this in Mach3 Turn.
i tried to make the G code in mach3 mill, and use the Multipass file converter, but in Mach Turn i get a Wrong Preview of the job. ?
Is there another way to do this

Thanks

Borge,
There are programs to generate code for the lathe.
Try using Lazyturn ( free and manual is in Member's Doc's) to generate the code and use the lathe screen.
There are also turn wizards for individual operations.
If you are going to do a lot of lathe work consider a program such as Dolphin for the lathe.

The multipass wizard COULD be adapted to turn. Brian would have to do it or give permission to access the code as the wizard is locked as to code modifications.
