Title: Looking For Help
Post by: scgrove on June 20, 2013, 05:44:12 PM
We have a cnc that we would like to use to cut steel silhouettes and market them at craft shows. It came with Mach3 already installed and was supposed to be set up ready to run. We have not been able to get it to run properly. The guy we bought it from has not returned any of our phone calls. Then we find out the Mach3 is an unlicensed copy! We need help desparately in making this thing work asap. Is there anyone out there that can get us a licensed Mach3 and set it up ready to go? We are willing to pay for your expertise! Financially, we need to make this thing go very soon. Located in Michigan. HELP PLEASE!!

When we purchase Mach 3 is it going to tell us how to set our machine to it?  That is the problem we seem to be having>

It would help if you told us where you are located.

I think that it would help if I  finished my coffee before replying to some of these.

We need all the electronics that go with it also. It is a three axis cnc machine. So looking for someone to fix us up with the electronics needed to run the machine and configure Mach 3 to go with it.

Where in Michigan, and what kind of machine is this?

We are in central northern Michigan, 60 miles north of Saginaw.  Our machine is no specific brand, it was put together by someone in SC. It has three axis. My husband is the one who knows about cnc machines but we are just not able to get this one to run right so want to start all over.

Is it a plasma, or a mill?
I don't know of anyone who would come out and redo your machine, without probably charging more than you originally paid for it. You might want to look at places that sell complete ready to run kits, like http://www.candcnc.com/
Unfortunately, they have the absolute worst website in the world.
