Title: Removing pierce delay from mach3 not possible.
Post by: tunfiskur on May 08, 2013, 09:20:54 AM
Hello. I'm having a problem with removing pierce delay in Mach3 plasma. I use sheetcam for generating the gcode. I need the pierce timer completely gone for the laser application that i'm using at the moment.

What i have tried:

- Making sheetcam pierce delay = 0s
- Manually removing pierce delay from the gcode file (setting G04 = 0 or just remove it completely)

Any advace would be much appreciated. And i apologize if i posted this in wrong forum section.

If you are using the spindle controls for firing your laser then you will likely always have a delay.
I think most use an axis for firing the laser but give tweakie a shout as he does a lot of laser stuff.
