Title: Motorized Linear Stages
Post by: kelvin on April 08, 2013, 12:33:59 PM
Need to run tests of optic modules where I would like to use Mach 3 for movement control, used it in the past for mini mill and familiar with it a bit. The problem is to find mechanics. I looked on internet for micro Motorized Linear Stages and Motorized Rotation Stages and they are all look mega expensive, mostly for high end test labs. Can you please recommend a place where I can buy those at reasonable price? I need only up to 5cm movement and the parts are no more then 500 grams.
Thank you.

Hi Rich

Possibly the way to go, I need "standard" table top CNC accuracy, nothing else, may be you can suggest places in the UK where I can get DIY parts for mini mill set up and will be reconfiguring them for my needs.
