Title: A little more help needed

currently my machine is cutting right along the line i have drawn other the changing my drawing how do i make the tool cut to the outside of the line so everything i needed inside the line is still there. i am sorry if this is a stupid question but i am very new at this

Not too great at G Code myself but you should be able to  use G41 or G42 to offset by the radius of your cutter.

As mentioned, you can use G41/G42, but you'll need lead-in moves and possibly lead-out moves. Usually not for beginners.

 If you're using AutoCAD, use the offset command and offset the lines by 1/2 the tool diameter. Delete the original lines and use the offset ones to create the g-code.

Gerry is right! offsetting in DXF is a much better way to go... Cutter comp is not as simple as it sounds
