Hello Forum,
I have been running an 1.7 ghz XP based system for years with version 1.83 of Mach3. I have had no trouble until this past weekend. I have a two sided part I was routing. I turned the part over, reset home and loaded the gcode. I didnt pay too much attention to the toolpath display. The router stopped mid-stream and when I checked the toolpath display, I noticed it stopped on line 500. Why was it in demo mode. The license info was at the top of the screen. I rebooted, and this time it loaded the entire gcode in the display, however, when I scrolled through the code, it stopped at line 500. I tried several different codes with the same result. Once in a while it will load the entire code. I am stumped. This is a standalone machine with no internet connection and nothing has been changed. I do only have 256mb of ram, which is the only thing that might be marginal, but it has run for years. Any ideas?
Thank you,
Wayja

Have you recently updated Mach?

Hi Hood,
I have not recently updated Mach as 1.83 has been working for me.

I just transferred the license to another machine with Windows 7 and it runs fine. Anybody have any ideas?

Can you attach your xml and I will see if there is a problem with it.

Hood, Here is the .xml I am currently using. Thank you for your help.

Dont see an issue with the xml.
On the Win7 computer I presume you are using a newer version of Mach?
You could try reinstalling 1.83 on the original computer and see if that helps.

It could be you were having a MEMORY chip problem.
Just a thought, (;-) TP

Thank you. I will be running a memtest tonite and then reload mach3. Stay tuned.

I was unable to find a consistent cause of my problem. I changed from keygrabber to joytokey and have had far less issues with the system, although not entirely gone. I am planning on a computer upgrade in the near future utilizing a newer version of Mach3 and Windows7. Thank you for all your help.
