Hi, I've been milling PCBs using Eagle then PCBGCODE then the OPTIMIZER. But, Eagle's size limitation is killing me. I had purchased a copy of SPRINT which outputs isolation milling files in a HPGL format. I dont know how to convert them to GCode. I really like the Eagle, but if switching to SPRINT allows me to make larger boards I'd drop Eagle in a second. What program can convert the HPGL files to GCode? Am I going about this in the right way? Any pointers would be appreciated!

Check out SheetCam it can deal with HPGL files.

Hi Miles,
Welcome to the forum.
Try LazyCam (it comes free with Mach3) - it can convert HPGL(2) to GCode.
Providing the HPGL file size is not too large it makes a reasonable job, allows scaling and some limited editing etc.
Tweakie.
