Title: Powerfeed XY
Post by: sirbean on February 20, 2013, 10:12:08 AM
My install of Powerfeed XY is in demo mode and I would like to know how to get it out. I bought the license and the other wizard works ,but this one is still in demo mode? Not sure if I'm missing some thing. Thanks

Did you buy a wizard license or a Mach license? For a wizard to run you must have both a mach liicense and a wizard license.

When you said  the "other wizard works" did you mean the Newfangled Suite?

Are your licenses files in your Mach 3 folder?

I think so because the other addons by newfangled works great. Does powerfeed xy have its own seperate license,  seperate from the one labeled a handy set of wizards? Think it was called mill addon for 50 dollars. Sorry im new to these addons but loving them

No, there is only one license. The wizards that check it are the newfangled suite, copycat, powerfeedxy and drillwiz. If it works with any one then its installed in the correct place, and a valid license. I cannot imagine a reason one wizard would work and another not work on the same machine.

I will look at the code for the powerfeed and see if I can find anything.

Are you running a tormach version?  The powerfeed wizard has an init.m1s file in the folder under Addons\PowerFeedXY. That file has c:\mach3\ hard coded in it. That really should be a test for the program folder, not hard coded.

If you are running with the mach3.exe in a different folder edit the init.m1s file.

I will see if I can make a proper fix to that.
