Title: Cannot set button to Alt-A
Post by: rance on February 14, 2013, 01:49:05 AM
I have been using Screen4 and the one Klaus built. I have built a screen by mostly copying & pasting from other screens. I added 7 new buttons and assigned them to Alt-Q,W,E,R,A,S, and D keys. All work except for Alt-A. I tried to see if Alt-A was already mapped, but could not find any existing assignments. Can anyone shed some light on my delima? Thanks in advance.

Hi Rance,

in MachScreen you can list the assigned hotkeys. Did you use that function View-> Hotkeys? If you click in the field "Hotkey" the hotkeys are ordered by their names. In the standard screen 1024.set "Alt A" is assigned to "Cycle axis controlled by MPG 1".

I see. Looks like I'll live without it for now. I'll just use Alt-S,D, and F instead. That seems to work. I could probably change the original Alt-A to something else but I don't want to stray too far from the standard screens. Thanks for the input Klaus. And also for sharing your screen editor.
