Title: Z is stepping down every two seconds and i can not reset.
Post by: gtxkid on December 18, 2012, 09:01:58 PM
I seen it all work when i bought it.
I am new.
I can not seam to get reset to stop flashing.
The emergency stop works, that is how i got it to stop stepping z down about .020 every two seconds.
What would it take for someone to call me for 5-10 min. to check a few things.

Thanks Greg

Attach your xml and also give a brief descripotion of the make of drives etc you are using and whether your are using the parallel port or some other device. If the parallel port is it a PCI one or an onboard one?

I found a connection that was not plugged in.
I will have to post a new problem.
I found out the name of my board is PC Card Maker.
My new problem is the hot keys are set correct but Z does not work at all /  Y moves in negative direction with both the up and down arrow  /  X also only moves positive with both left and right arrow keys.

gtxkid,
By posting the additional info we can can quickly take a look at what you have, how things are configured, etc and avoid
numerous one by one questions. Thus you'll get up and running more quickly. Filling the tooth is easier than extraction. ;)
