Title: Speed

I got help from angel_tech on figuring out my steps per inch.  everything is going in the right direction.  how do i increase the speed of the axis'. Meaning, when it is either jogging or doing a job (havent done my first job yet)  how do i get it to go faster (faster inches per minte)?

go back to the motor tuning screen where you entered the steps per inch. the next box is your max speed setting and the 2nd box is the acceleration to max speed.

i saw that but how do you calculate those settings?

For steppers its all trial and error, for servos you can work out the Velocity but acceleration is trial and error.
