Title: Requested home switch is active...please fix, then home
Post by: rafterj on November 06, 2012, 03:58:44 PM
I don't know what this means.  When the message appears the light next to the Z-axis readout turns from green to red and the z-axis on the table goes all the way up.  I can reference all axis, switch to the coordinates button and sometimes I will not get the message and all is good and then the next time its not.  I have an EZ-Router APC plasma table.  Any and all assistance is greatly appreciated.

It is saying the HOME switch is already active (stuck maybe) when you called the refhome function. It then says FIX the active condition and then ref home.

Can't see your machine so you are the only one that might know(;-).

I have some extra switches, should I try to replace the one on the z-axis and the re-reference the table.  I have referenced the table a couple of times since this started and it will work right for sometimes 1 or sometimes up to 50 cuts but then the messages will come back.
