this is a user home XOYO
why is my x and y axis different
one is reading a negative
and the other is reading positve

+0 and -0 are the same position. Strictly speaking it should just be 0 without a + or - but as the DROs in Mach always show one or the other you may get one or the other :)

I can see by the OLS error message left on the screen that YOU have been trying to run in G20 mode. That is INCHES not metric.

I would suggest that you find a good book on CNC operations and do some studying up on the subject.

The problem with suggesting a book title is one person thinks it is great and another can't make heads or tales of it. There are plenty out there. There are even online tutorials that you can read free.

ANd here is a thought, THERE IS the mach3 manual(;-)
