Title: Help...! No Driver Sensed - Run Driver Test - ERROR
Post by: Dansway on January 23, 2007, 05:23:00 PM
I'm running Win XP Prof on a laptop (Toshiba Satellite)

I uninstalled Mach3 ver 1.8 and tried to install 2.0+ and at the end of the new installation, Mach3 gave me the error of "no driver sensed" etc.

I've looked high and low for the Mach3 driver in device manager and it is not showing up.

Please help!!!!  How do I get past this problem so I can use ver 2.0....?

Regards,

Dan

Try downloading again after you uninstall the first attemp. When Mach is loading it ask if you want to install drivers. Make sure the box is checked and install the drivers. Let us know how it does.

Art emailed me this response earlier today:

Hi Dan:

Running the DriverTest.exe will reinstall the driver by itself. If it wont install, it points to either not being in admin mode, or a corruption of the XP install facility (Which Ive seen before. ). Reinstalling Windows on top of itself fixes that one if the drivertest.exe and logging in as Admin wont..

Thanks,
Art
