Title: rotary axis has stops moving
Post by: smithvac on October 19, 2012, 06:31:47 PM
Hi
I am a new user and I have a rotary axis (a) that seems to have a limit.  I can go so far then it stops and only allows me to go the opposite direction.
What settings do I need to change to make it rotate indefinitely.
Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like you may have a soft limit set for the A axis .

Yes as TP says you likely have the rotational; soft limits enabled, you will find that option on General Config page near the lower middle right section of that page.

Hi I turned off the rotational soft limits and restarted the software.  It did't change.
