Title: DRO Jog screen buttons backward help

I generally do not use my jog screen I just use the keyboard to jog
but, I used it today trying to figure about my problem with my axis direction

and I noticed that my x and y jog buttons are opposite...
the x button controls moves my tool up and down
and the y button moves my machine from side to side

does anybody know what I need to do

that's not worded very well

the x button moves my tool away from me and toward me
not up and down

Sounds like you have the motors ports and pins configured wrong, either that or you are using a custom screen and it has the on screen buttons assigned wrong.
Easy test is to MDI a  move of an axis and see if it is the correct axis that moves, if it is then the screen would seem to be the issue.
