Open the macro with notepad and see what it says and if there are any extras, it should say
rpm = GetRPM()
SetSpinSpeed( rpm )
If there are any artefacts there or it is on one line edit so its as above. Reason to open in notepad is you will often not see artefacts in the Mach editor.
No list of Artcodes as far as I know, Art usually is able to say roughly what they are but even then they can have quite a few different causes for the same code.

It will be contained in the macro folder for the profile you are using, eg if using Mach3Turn its default location would be
C:\Mach3\Macros\Mach3Turn
It will be called spindlespeed.m1s
Hopefully you havent deleted them in your quest for cleaning your drive ;)

That problem has been around for YEARS, and I've never been able to cure it, though it appears to be harmless. Sometimes, if you edit the file, make sure there are no "funny" characters in it, and there's a blank line at the end of the file, it will go away. But, eventually, it will come back.
