Why do you want to delete Fred?

Just a routine disk rearrangement and cleanup--

i regularly go through my various computers and weed out the rubbish
It is comforting to know that i am only keeping nessessary stuff
and not backing up a lot of unnessessary files.

I dont know Fred, to me they look like some sort of info for Mach when un-installing.
What I would say however is why screw with something in the Mach folder as the way I look at things, Mach is unlikely to add files just because it wants to waste some disc space for you ;)

sure thing - unless they are relics from some previous installations
but they can stay -
