Title: Running Mach 3 on 64 bit for non machine controller
Post by: Hyperlitz on September 30, 2012, 09:28:30 AM
Hi there I am inquiring about any problems running mach on my new windows 64 bit  Pro computer this is for  cad design and processing only as I have a XP  machine for the machine controlling duties. Am I right in thinking that this should be alright or could you point at what I need to do.
Thanks

IF you're just using Mach3 for simulation, be aware that some things won't work properly without the parallel port driver, so you may not get the same results.

Is that still the case Gerry? Thought nowadays Mach ran in true simulation mode, could be wrong though.

If it's changed I wasn't aware of it.
