Post by: rcrabb on January 20, 2007, 09:26:13 PM
Is the probe function working with the NCpod? I haven't been able to do any probing with the pod. Any information???

The probing function is being worked on at the moment. There is probing in the pod at the moment but there is no ramping set with it so all probing will be either slow or inaccurate. As soon as the firmware is updated to allow Art to use a ramping facility in the firmware, it will be finised off and activated.

80% there.

I  have installed my zero plate on the Ncpod + mach3, but it doesn't work.

is this only with my setup, or is this a firmware bug ?

I honestly don't know if the NCpod is still being developed or dead in the water.  :(

The probing as far as my experience goes does not work.

G31 move will head off in whatever direction it feels like at the time.  No rhyme or reason that I can find.

So unfortunately it is on the shelf. Replaced by the excellent SmoothStepper.
