Here are some photos of a strange occurrence in the middle of a job. Mach 3 seems to have randomly re-zeroed itself in 2 different axies at different times.
The first image is the tool at the "Go To Zero" position after the job was paused. The tool was initially zeroed to the corner of the material. Notice, also, how it's buried into the material, not on the surface as initialized.
The second image shows the "re-zeroing" of the Z axis in the middle of the job, resulting in deeper pecks.
What's going on? There are also random "blocks" of holes missing from the final piece.
Thanks for any ideas!

My first thought would be stalling, try reducing your velocity and accelleration for all axis and see if it still does it.

That's a good thought, but since I'm only pecking very shallow holes at 12,000 rpm, stalling seems unlikely.
Still, there may be forces I'm unaware of...but it's a pretty light duty routine.

Here's another image showing the missing "blocks" of holes in my pattern. It may be a clue...
