Not sure if I wired my limit switches correctly. I attached an image to look at but not sure if it posted.

Hi Glen,
It's OK them being in series like that, but you didn't mention where are you wiring them to. Is it directly to the PP without a breakout board? If so then I think that the PP inputs are being pulled down normally anyway, so you'll need to connect the other side to 5VDC instead of the COM (which I assume is GND in your schematic)

Dan,
All I have is the the power supply hooked to a 4 axis driver board model (TB6560HQT4-V3) purchased from Ebay. What does PP stand for and do I need a breakout board. I can jog my motors but after I wired the limit switches they stopped working. Once I disconnected the limit switch I could again jog the motors. This prompted me to ask this question. I have another block of connectors labled; 5v (output), PU/CK (pulse), CW (direction) EN (enable) and GND (ground). Should I still connect to the 5v or GND?
Thanks so much!

Can you attach the driver manual or a link to one?
Dan

Yes, I attached a PDF of the manual.

They don't exactly provide this information in the manual, but based on their Active Low setting in Ports and Pins for the limits (on page 20) I think that the inputs are normally pulled high. Changing it to Active High (uncheck the Active Low box) should fix this.

I unchecked the active low box and still can't jog the motors. I checked all the switches and they are closed. Hummmm...

Go the the diagnostics page and see if the limits LEDs change state when you play with a switch.

On the Diagnostics only the M4++Limit LED is yellow. When I trigger any of the switches it turns off and nothing else is on. See attached pic.

Attach your xml and I will have a look.

Hood,
On an earlier post I attached the manual for my board. The post prior to that one, attached how the limit switches are wired. Thanks for your reply, let me know what else I can provide. Ohhh...by the way. I disconnected the limit swithes from the COM side and 13 pin and ran a solid wire and still M4++Limit LED is yellow is on.
Thanks,
Glen

I need your config settings as it will be the quickest way for me to see if there is a problem with them.
The config is held in a single file for your setup, if you open Mach you should see lower right the name of the profile you are using, go to the Mach3 folder on your drive and look for a file with that name and a xml extension. Copy it to your desktop and rename it to Glen.xml or similar (needs to be renamed so the forum will accept) then attach it to the forum.

Hi Hood,
I attached the xml file for your review. Again, thanks for your support.

If you have it wired as in the picture on the first page then you have Mach configured wrong. To me it looks like you have all switches wired in series and are only using one Input. If that is true then what you need to do is like in the screenshot below.

It worked...thanks so much!

Glad it is working for you :)
