I am just north of the Woodlands. I have a few machines (manual and Cnc) and could possibly help. Have you looked into the Houston Hackerspace meetings? They have quite a large building with quite a few tools and people willing to help. The have free meetings on Friday nights IIRC. Very close to MinuteMaid Park.
