Any luck? Any responses?
I'm in the same boat.
-
No response but I did get it working.
What is yours not doing?
-
Glad you asked!
I set up the system as defined in the readme photo file, on a p4 win2k box.
In mach3, i Set the pins and moor parameters. The driver test app gives me a line at 25k.
I was expecting some movement with jogging in x or y but saw zilch. It's dead.
I then started readin this forum and the manual, trying to decipher what's applicable and what isn't.
( not easy for a complete noob.)
That's where I am currently this pm.
Thanks fo the reply. I'm suprised you didn't get one!

Did you hook up the cnc before you intsalled Mach?
-
Yes. I did. There wasn't any specification one way or the other.
I assume it matters? :-) Since you ask.
-
Yes.
Uninstall Mach, disconnect mill. Intsall Mach then reboot and then reconnect mill
and then when you start Mach, tell me what it says in the status bar.
-
Driver initialised.
It's alive! As gene wilder would say.
Thank you!

Great to hear.
Good luck on your new toy. :)
