sorry posted this in the wrong place, earlier. try again. :-[
My problem: started Mach 3 screen came up as normal, mouse or keyboard did not work, had to restart machine with reset, started Mach 3 again got blank screen with just the ribbon at the top showing, ribbon works but no DRO has anyone seen this before? please tell me its reload Mach and smile? is the machine failing I do get a flicker as windows boots?
any help would be good, I don't know how long I can survive without my toy.

If you have the menus at the top go to View then Load Screens and if the Mach3 folder does not automatically open browse to it. Choose the 1024.set and see if that helps.

dashed home at lunch and tried what you suggested, there was no *set files in the Mach 3 folder, I reloaded Mach 3 from disc and it opened up alright, will it have kept all thee settings, I didn't have time to test it.
I will have to run it tonight to check it out.
Does this sort of think just happen? should I keep a backup of the *set files somewhere else on the machine in case?

Doesnt normally happen unless your computer is playing up.
You should still have all your settings as they are stored in an xml file which should not get overwritten with an upgrade.

Runs fine, I did take the PC to bits and had a cooling fan full of fluff, mills running behind me as I type, thanks for your help
I will keep my eyes out for a replacement PC as I think this one is at the end of its life.

Hi!
I'm using mach3 Version R3.043.062 and it is licensed to PAPA FABIO, my problem is when I load any program which have more then 500 lines, on Cycle Start it suddenly stops when 500 lines are completed and stop executing the rest pf the lines.
Please guide me because guide I am a new user of Mach3.

Hi!
Im using Lazycam for engraving text but when I create text in it, It creates it in "double line" and I want to create a single line text. Please suggest any solution for me I have tried writing it in CorelDraw too but still having the same problem when I save it in .dxf.

There are a couple of solutions but before making any suggestions can you please confirm that you now have the proper Mach license in your own name.

Try drawing the text in CAD using arcs and lines. The generated code will be small because the arcs are not broken into small line segments and you get exactly what you want.
Please create a thread for your questions and not highjack other threads.
