Title: Remebering settings
Post by: fishmore on June 11, 2012, 04:49:03 PM
Hi,
I am new to to the forum and want to thank you for posting all your great knowledge.
I have been running Mach3 for a few months now and it's been great. But I have one issue, It doesn't remember my settings when I shut down. I am wondering if it should. All my zero references get lost. Is this typical?

There are options lower right in General config page for persistant DROs etc. Also make sure you have the last option unchecked  (copy G54 from G59.253)

Thanks Hood,
But it didn't work. After shutting down Mach3 and restarting all four of my zeros start with very obscure numbers. I also have to click the reset button on each startup.

You always need to click the reset when you start Mach, it is that way for safety reasons.
If you attach your xml I will take a look and see if I can find a problem with your DRO readings.

Here is my xml file. Sorry for the delay, I got distracted with other issues.
I have another question. Does Mach3 support "Inverse Time"?

General Config page lower right, choose persistent offsets.

Thanks Hood,
That worked. This will make set up much easier.
