hi, so i have picture and i want to do engraving with 15 degree V bits.
How can i do this ? I opened Lazy Cam loaded image and selected V something method.... well output gave me flat white panel? Sounds that i did something wrong? Did i?
Are there any other alternative software within a range of $500 that can use V-Bits? I tried mesh Cam Art it has nice output but i have no idea how to add V bits , i only can select mill tools that i create :(
Tnx foir help!

Hi Alexus,
Sounds like you did not set the cutting depth correctly - check out the LazyCam tutorial, this should explain everything you need to know. http://www.machsupport.com/forum/index.php/topic,12078.0.html
Although I still use LazyCam, I mostly use VCarve Pro nowadays (around $600) http://www.vectric.com/WebSite/Vectric/vcp/vcp_index.htm
There is a trial version download on their website so you can evaluate it's capabilities.
Tweakie.

tnx a lot for reply, i think i got LazyCam to somewhat do my job but it is using dot style engraving so my job is like 800 minutes :)) I played around with Mesh Cam Art and that gaves me 170 minutes but I need to figure out how to prepare artwork to get best results, so far model is not perfect :(
I give a try to VCarve, based on description it looks like very powerful software :)
