hI need help trying to set up motors set port and pins for my motors y and z axis move in + and _ directions but for some unknown reason
the x axis will only move in the + direction doesn't matter how i try that is the only direction it wants to go. I did have my smoothestepper
set up but x axis wouldn't move in any direction so removed and reset up another session but no luck im at my wits end .I have PMDX126
board and the PMDX 107 for my spindle any help would be welcome I have also tried swapping motor drivers but still get the same so motor
drivers are okay.

It will most likely be you have the wrong pin configured for the X Direction or there is a wiring issue. You can test with a voltmeter to see if the Dir pin changes between 0v and 5v depending on the direction you jog, start testing direct on the computers port and work out.

Hi tested my port pins and im getting 4.27 to 4.28 vlt on each .

So it is not changing as you jog?
That would suggest you dont have them set up correctly in Mach. If you attach your xml I will have a look.

I didnt get the xml, not sure how you sent it.
AMD was not the problem, its the only CPU I used before I went onto the pico and micro ATX motherboards.
