Title: Strange G81 Operation in 2.031
Post by: jlmjvm on January 09, 2007, 09:47:38 AM
Had a call yesterday from a friend asking me how to fix a problem with his g81 drill cycle. He stated that if you looked at the graphics in an iso view it looked like it was drawing a triangle. His program was a simple g81 with 4 holes in row.He also stated that if you changed to g83 it drilled ok.I checked his code, ran it here on the desk and it looked good, but I was using .028.Later I loaded .031 and it did what his was doing, immediately changed to .033 and it went away.Hope this helps anybody that has a g81 that draws triangles on the simulation screen.

Joe.

It could have been a bug that Art fixed... there was a bug reported and I can't think what the heck it was! Just be sure that it is not wrong in .33! If it is please post there is a problem and we will get it fixed!

Thanks
