Title: leadshine driver m880a setting

hi, i have leadshine drivers m880a im running nema 42 stepper motors . should i set to the highest step/rev. or something less than that . thanks

The usual thinking is 10 is optimum so if you have that option probably best to go for it. If the drives dip switches are labelled in steps per rev, as you seem to be suggesting, then it will be on the assumption that you are using 1.8 degree steppers (200 steps per rev), so if that is the case then choose 2000 steps per rev.
