Title: Z Transformation after surface measurement exist?
Post by: StupidPig on May 02, 2012, 06:35:06 PM
Hi, I'm new to Mach3, and brought a desktop milling machine mainly for pcb prototype with isolation routing. So far I have great trouble on keeping the pcb flat to maintain the routing depth consistent. Recently I saw an video on youtube showing a feature from another CNC software, which first measuring the Z with multiple points on the pcb as a grid, then do on-the-fly transformation for Z height during the routing. Does this feature available in mach 3 too? Thanks.

Ahhh... too bad. It doesn't sounds like something very difficult to be implemented. Will that feature be possible to added by developing an addon? Or real-time Z offset altering is impossible?

MACH is NOT a realtime system it is a buffered system.
