Hi,
I just got my first cnc machine(Romaxx) and I'm having a problem.
I am new to this cnc stuff so this may be a dumb question.
I created my drawing in Autocad in inches.
Opened in Vcarve, units set to inches.
I saved my toolpath through Vcarve, post processor 'Mach2/3 ATC Arcs(inch)'
Opened it up in Mach3, made sure my native units was in inches.
Configured Mach 3 per Romaxx.
Go to cut a sample and while it should be around 7" square, it's about 1" square.
I'm thinking there may be another metric setting that is causing the problem.
Any thoughts?
thanks David

Sounds like your steps/unit are set wrong. Can you post some sample code and the .dxf to make sure that's not the issue?

Thanks Gerry,
I looked over the cad file and it looks good.
The steps/units seem like a plausible place to look, contacted Romaxx so we'll see.
I'll post my results as it may help someone later.
