Title: CNC Plasma Table. 27"X62"cutting area.

I am new here and also new to the DIY CNC world. Here is a link to my you tube video showing my new table in motion. I have a 80 amp plasma that I plan on using on the table. I currently am working on the Z axis. I have the linear slide done with a 1/2-20 acme thread and support bearings. Tonight I was working on my NEMA 23 motor mount for the Z. Thinking of using a process controller from Automation direct with a 0-10 or 0-5 volt input. Then putting a voltage divider on the plasma lead. The process controller is more like a temp controller that can be set up for dual outputs for cooling and heating. It will have a PID controller built in and I can adjust the gains and thresholds to turn on the up and down relay outputs. I can also set a third relay that is set as long as the voltage is higher than say 2 volts indicating that the plasma is on.
