I have been away from CNC’s due to other work load….
Checking on the web to see what’s new, I noticed that there is a CNCUSB hardware / software solution now and I wonder if anyone knows the pros / cons of it
Since this is a Mach3 support forum, I hope I don’t get into hot water by asking this question but my intentions are just to expand my knowledge on the CNC market. I do have Mach3 and LazyCam Pro and I love them both
Thank you

What exactly do you refer to?
If this Dynomotion, it has been out a while and can also use Mach as a front end, if you chose to?

The one I refer to does not use Mach3, it has its own software
Lets wait and see what other members have to say

Why not try it out and provide a Mach to whatever it is comparison. Your results would be interesting reading.

There are at least two controllers that fit the OP's description.
EdingCNC, which used to be called USB CNC,
and Planet-CNC.

Well Gerry got it right, I mean the Planet-CNC
Sorry Rich but I don’t want to try it out because it means I have to buy new hardware and I’m happy with what I have
My questions was any pros / cons between a parallel port / USB interface in case someone has tried the USB

Thousands of people already use USB and Mach with the SmoothStepper and the KFlop.
