Title: Limit/home switch setup problems.
Post by: IN-WondeR on February 09, 2012, 08:26:21 AM
Hello everybody.

I'm still a noob, even though I have owned the program for almost 3 years now...

I want to setup my home and limit switches on the same pins on my BOB. The setup is no problem, but the functions of the switches is a bit more tricky I have leraned.

I need a script of some sort that will allow me to move the machine manually if the machine hits a limit switch.

But after trying numerous things I have come up short.

I have heard however that a script which tells mach3 what to do if a limit switch is triggered is the only way to go.

I have searched this forum alot, and have yet to find anything regarding this. Is there someone who can point me in the right direction?? I'm at a loss here... :(

:) No, not at all. This is one that is frequently overlooked and commonly asked about.
Be sure to download the manuals under SUPPORT above.
A quick glance at the INDEX will usually take you exactly where you need to be.
Have fun and be careful.
