Title: Anyone have a list of New router companies that run Mach 3?
Post by: suade907 on January 24, 2012, 05:07:42 PM
I'm looking to buy a new router and have grown very fond of my Mach 3. I did a search and have come up with very little. I know there is EZ router but are there any other reputable companies out there.

This is some I have come up with
www.tigerteccnc.com
www.zenbotcnc.com/
www.k2cnc.com
www.digitalwoodcarver.com/
www.plasmaroutecnc.com/
www.newcnc.com/
http://store.blurrycustoms.com/

No experience with any of them ;)

Thanks, I'm in the US though. I run Mach 3 now on a Romaxx WD-1 but i want to get something a lot more rigid so i can run higher speeds. I really like Mach and have post processors that work with my software and would like to stay with that if possible.

Also try CNC Router Parts. They offer a line of kits that are well made. I'm building one now. You can find them on CNC Zone and http://www.cncrouterparts.com/machine-kits-c-29.html (http://www.cncrouterparts.com/machine-kits-c-29.html)

Thanks for the tip I'd be very interested to hear how your build works out for you. Thanks

Mechanically, the build is going just fine. I'm having some angst getting the steppers to move. Computer? Connection? Electronics? Mach3 setup? Operator error? Haven't narrowed it down, yet.
