Hi hope this is the right place to ask but am pulling my hair out here.
I am looking for advice on my triac atc on
Upgrading to mach3 which has 24v inputs and outputs that run
110v solenoids. These operate the air and motor for
The toolchange. Has anyone converted a Denford atc
To Mach3 any advice on where to start and what to do would be greatfully
Appreciated.

Hi Tom happy new year to you, I was planning to use two
Printer ports if I can do it this way? I have a cnc4pc card for the 24v inputs/ output
Side of things, which I'm hoping will deal with the atc up/down in/out relay's and was
Planning to run the limits and home's on another then, as
You suggested a switch on the cam for home so it's just the brains side of
Things I think am still a bit stuck with ie macro's and stuff i have seen a atc
Triac converted just don't know how it was done and what was used
I decided to just go down the stepper route just a lot easer for me to
Deal with, are you any further forward with your monster?

Ok had a rethink, And I have decided to go for
Modbus to plc route as it's just to much hassle
With the two boards and trying to accommodate
This many sourcing and sinking io's is a nightmare.

Sorry, i meant to reply to the last post. I use a homemade breakout board with three relays on the first port and i make up a second board i/o board for the second port with five inputs and 6 relays. Most of the denford relays are switched to ground so it's a relativly easy procedure to ste up.
