Title: Mach3 on Sherline - any way to fix screen font in buttons ?
Post by: mach3ds on January 01, 2012, 08:51:28 PM
I just got Mach3 running for my Sherline mill with the Sherline driver box and I noticed that there is a row of buttons on one of the Mach3 windows that mostly have single line of text inside them. But one of the buttons has two lines of text "Normal Condition" in green that is squashed into the height of a single line of text making it fairly illegible. I tried changing the screen resolution to see if I could make this any better but to no avail. Is there some way to tweak these button heights in a screen settings file for example so these have some sort of normal text like MS Arial Narrow bold or other instead of the squishy fat font used as default in the screen setup ?

The button in question is an image file that is too tall to fit the button. If you re-create it in an imaging program at half the height, it should look much better.

The file is \Mach3\bitmaps\Millbitmaps\conditions.png
