Hi everyone,
I want to convert a number pad into a pendent using the buttons as I have laid out on the model attached ;D. I know how to allocate the axes using the hot keys, but how do I allocate the other buttons?
Any help or suggestions gratefully accepted ;).

You would have to look in the mach screen with one of the screen designers and see what hotkey is assigned to the button you are wanting to emulate.

Ok thanks, but once I know the hotkey, how do I asign it to the key on the num pad? and would it effect the screen function?
-
I dont know how you assign keys on your keypad, are they configurable or set?

I honestly don't know. It is just an old keypad I have had kicking around for years. I have not done anything like this so don't really know where to start.

Ok if you can not configure the keys to be the same as the default you would have to change the hotkey assignment in the screenset to match the keys, just have to be careful you dont duplicate keys for other buttons.
Also have a look at keygrabber, been a long long time since I used it but it may be a help to you.

Thanks Hood, I will have a look at that. Hope you don't get blown away today!

Most of teh keypads were set to the same as the key functions of the keyboard and were not programable. To use you would have to change the HOTKEYS to that of the pendant. WHICH may change from the original keyboard configuration.
The keypad hand pendants do work well though you just have to change things around to suite the keypad.
